MA AG Announces Settlement with Lord & Taylor Resolving Complaints of Racial Profiling in Retailer’s Shoplifting Prevention Program

On November 13, 2018, Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey announced a $100,000 settlement with Lord & Taylor LLC (“Lord & Taylor”) to resolve allegations that the clothing retailer’s shoplifting prevention program disproportionately targeted black and Hispanic customers. Several National Retailers Receive Requests for Information from New York Attorney General On Practice of “On-Call Shifts”
